FUSED COATINGThermal powders, which got sprayed onto workpieces, are fused by oxy-acetylene flame. When diffusion temperature reaches to 900-1000 ºC, the coating melts and adhere to substrate by forming metallurgical bond. Dense, less porosity and excellent bonded coatings are obtained by fused coatings. Metal based powders which contains nickel, chrome, iron, cobalt, boron, tungsten carbide are used. And coatings which have hardness over 65 HRC, resistance to thermal shocks and high working temperature over 700ºC are obtained. High diffusion temperature might cause to deformation on parts. Hence, this kind of coating is more preferable for new products. Application thickness is max. 2-2.5 mm. |
