ARC WIRE SPRAY

Electric arc is formed by two wires which got tied to opposite polarities. This arc, that reaches to 4000 °C, melts the wines. Melted metal particles are sprayed rapidly through pressurized air.

 

It is commonly used for coating metal and metal alloys. It is fairly effective for coating large areas as well. 10 mm coating thickness is obtained. Deformation doesn't emerge on workpiece.

Metals like zink, aluminum, nickel, copper, molybdenum and alloys, stainless steels, carbon steels are used for arc wire spray coating applications. Arc wire spray coatings present diversity of solutions to variety of industrial problems.
